In theory you were supposed to get 10 days of sick per year. In the call centers you would be written up if you took more than 2 days per quarter which equates to 8 days.

If you are a salaried exempt employee you cannot use unpaid leave and paid leave on the same day. So, if you normally work an 8 hour day and you don't have 8 hours of sick time, then you have to use unpaid leave for the entire day. If you don't have enough hours to cover the entire day, then you are out of luck! The accrual rate of sick time is horrible, so you will find yourself using unpaid leave if you get really sick or need a lot of days off. If you need 3 consecutive days off sick or more, you MUST apply for a Leave of Absence through HR. If they don't approve your LOA request (after you've submitted every medical record you have) then you must return to work or you don't have a job.

We thankfully do get to roll over sick days, and they don't expire.

If you use your accrued sick time you are required to attend a "Counseling Session" which doesn't count "Against you" but is still a reprimand, which is just "Not Official" The Company week runs from Saturday-to-Friday, a computer "Glitch" which has existed for the 8 years I have worked there, will not let you acquire sick time or vacation time if you do not enter time for Monday's. We have been working 4 10 hour weeks for the last several months. Every time I am scheduled to have Monday's off I never accrue any sick time or vacation time, and the company refuses to rectify the situation

Accrual is generous and competitive in the industry.
