Benefits are expensive to buy. Not sure about the best side of the package since I didn't buy.

The benefits are not great and they do not offer a 401k.

The benefits package offered hardly covers any basic insurance. If you got hurt and had to go to the doctor, or to the dentist, it is going to be expensive. Granted, the benefits are better than nothing, but if you are in a bind they won't cover you as much as you would like.
2 weeks off, nonpaid. This was nice. And it can be allocated throughout your yearlong contract. They are cool about when you take it, and don't ever deny anyone time off if requested properly.

provide cheap health insurance to choose but should cost extra money to buy dental or vision insurance

not enough coverage for consultants, and people with families - rates are so high.

Not even holidays are PTO. Insurance sucks and is extremely expensive. They offer a bunch of cute "benefits" like discount on pet insurance, but I'd much rather have the PTO and/or better health insurance. I had to wait 3 months to get insurance or any other benefit including 401.

The best thing about Apex's benefits is that they at least offer them. The worst would be that they would be a huge cut out of my paycheck each week if I needed them. I am still registered under my parent's benefits until I am 26.

Best thing is the low rates for their overall health packages. They also have wellness programs where they pay you $20/mo to go to the gym:) They have great PTO policies as well.
Worst is that they don't give signing bonuses.
