Bereavement leave is only allowed for immediate family members, and only for 5 days. This is frikkin disgusting. Look, a person's best friend or favorite cousin or Grandma that raised them just frikkin died. Give them whatever time they need. Don't be jerks. Maybe they'll hunt for jobs elsewhere with better benefits.
