Starts on day one. Sick and vacation are rolled into one bank so, at least in the early years, you get more time off for vacation if you don't call in sick much. Only drawback is that it maxes out at a fairly low amount, considering what other companies may give between sick and vacation.

Paid Time Off and Vacation are grouped into one bucket and it starts immediately. Most departments are off and employees are paid holiday pay.

Leadership micromanages time off. Absolutely no overlapping paid time off with another employee in branch. Branches are open on Saturdays and staff can not take Monday or Friday as requested day off during week. Occasionally forced to use time off to exceed hours scheduled. Difficult to take extended time off around holidays because of strict vacation scheduling rules. All scheduled paid time off must be scheduled in January of each year makes planing actual vacation difficult.

I used to receive over 30 days of personal time off, however, in the last couple of years, they have now capped it at 27 and you can not purchase additional days. Days off are PTO (personal time off) and can be used for vacation or sick time. Up to 5 unused days can be rolled over each year, however, those days go into a sick bank and you can only bank a maximum of 10 days.
