best part of the business if you like hats. other companies they own (genesco) dont give all employees deal. very poor info and training on all aspects including this.

You get a certain amount of discount dollars you can spend so don't think you can just use it whenever you want

Cool company with cool product! Lids has hats, Jerseys, all kinds of fan stuff from many different sports teams. They also carry fashion hats as well.

The discount sounded better than what it was. 40% off, but that's the only discount you could use. So the employee discount never applied to any sales. For example, you can't get BOGO 50% off and 40% as well. Free hats occur as a promotion every once in a while. But only around once every two or three years.

Like I said, if you love hats...jump on it. Dealing with the district manager ain't worth it though.

40% off at any genesco ran company is awesome!

Best thing is that you get 40% off of everything, but the down side is that you are limited to a certain dollar amount for a period of time.
