Interns can opt-in to benefits, but they did not put into Roth IRA like other companies sometimes do

401k is average for today's industry. Medical is decent but going up in premium (like most places). LM does offer incentives where your can earn HSA money that can be used toward medical expenses.

Overall it has a fairly complete benefits package. However it is getting more and more expensive each year and covers less and less. Lockheed Martin is not at all competitive with major tech companies in the Silicon Valley.

Corporate wide changes to benefits for 2018 driving everyone to high deductible plans which is fine if you're single and never sick otherwise expect to pay a lot out of pocket. Dental and Vision not changing much. 401k offering with 4% match (if you contribute 8% or more). No more pension. Very difficult to get any education assistance. Free electric car charging and VTA passes (for now). On site gym. Some employee discounts. No free food, sometimes an annual party and/or bbq. 3 weeks vacation and no more as needed sick time (now 40 hrs PTO). They make it look like the offer a lot of benefits but they're very meager or only for the management.

LM switched to Aetna health insurance a few years ago. This is the worst insurance charging huge deductibles and minimum coverage.

9/80 Friday [Every other Friday off], amazing vacation system, and 10% 401k. You work at Lockheed Martin for the benefits.

LM had unremarkable benefits. Health care was confusing b/c you never knew what you would end up paying for any particular visit/service.
