401K Plan

"50% match up to 8%, plus 6% on top, for a grand total of 10%. This is outstanding and I do not know of anyone who tops that. If you make $100 and max out your 401k, you're putting away $28k a year."

They have a fully comprehensive set of benefits with several health care options and great coverage for a reasonable price.

Health Plan is Average in my opinion. I have seen better plans out there but they do have perks for a healthy lifestyle. IE if you track your steps, do healthy action etc. you can get money added to your Health fund.

I really do believe Lockheed Martin has one of the best benefits packages out there compared to other government contracts.

Health insurance not good at all in terms of deductible, before tax cost, etc.
401k: company matches 50% up to 4% of salary. Also in the first 5 years get 3% in stock (no employee contribution necessary).
1 week/year of sick leave.
3 weeks/year of PTO, plus various holidays (10/year).

Benefits are good with employer match percentage on savings plan. Health benefits are rising each year and services are declining.

Pretty average health insurance costs but the coverage is very good. 401k matching is average but they also have a nice bonus contribution program.
