How’s morale at the other MBB US?
Why so many MBBers are leaving more now days than ever? What has changed in the last 2-3 years?
Starting at MBB in a few months - obviously case work is the primary driver, but curious how much helping out with office initiatives (recruiting, affinity groups, etc.) actually factors into evaluations? Is it purely altruistic or does it move the needle?
Is 29 going on 30 too old to start as an MBB associate
Currently in FANG in a hot AI team and offered a Partner equivalent role in expert track at MBB. Been in tech as an engineer for 15+ years, no MBA obviously Comp is similar with a 'partner' in title and likely a bump. What are the exit opportunities from MBB say after 2-3 years ? Google Microsoft Amazon Boston Consulting Group Bain & Company McKinsey & Company
Joining MBB at 34/35? Will I be too old? Should I just forget about it and focus on other things?
There’s never been a thread in the last 7 years when someone says “up”.
Great!😊
Senior consultant is one of the random choices FB offers when you join. Wasn't my title then, isn't it now that I'm at MBB. Frankly, not work trying to change.
Coming from someone relatively younger, most of my analyst class is down. A lot of us are struggling financially and thought the pay would be…a little better. Also, there’s a lot of talk about trainings but we are not getting those opps.
Bcg2, don’t let logic get in the way of a good whine session
Well, at least nice to hear B and B are down in the same dumps as us 🤗
