Anyone from Uline here, need help with interviews stuff? For devops engineer role
I’m 15 years old trying to get a job in Ontario and I’m finding it practically impossible to get into places like even McDonald’s I’ve gone in handed in resumes cover letters followed up and I always get blown off how do I genuinely get a place to work at
I've sent two emails and a LinkedIn message to a former college classmate of mine asking for a referral. I haven't heard anything back. Should I keep trying to reach out or give up? I do think it's rude that they're ignoring me.
Hi! I'm new here. After graduating in Design and finishing a post-grad program (Computer Animation), I've found breaking into the industry really tough. Cold-emailing companies mostly led to automated replies to apply online, and building a local network feels difficult. I really need advice on how to effectively reach out to get noticed by recruiters and secure interviews. Does anyone have any tips or strategies to share? That would be super helpful.
Why is it that these companies that reach out to you, saying we are looking for someone like you asking you to apply and then you never hear anything back from them?
It's kind of nerve wracking to ask someone you don't really know for a referral. Where do you guys find the confidence to reach out to a complete stranger and ask them to help you get a job?
