I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ACA Compliance Group in May 2016
Interview
The interview process focuses on your business and communications skills relative to the industry. Although there are technical aspects relevant to the job role. The position I applied for was both client facing as well as development. The process started with another applicant referring my CV to a recruiter. The recruiters reached out over the phone and discussed my background and how I would fit in roles they had available. The recruiters across divisions communicated and gave my CV to a different division who followed up.
I was setup for a phone screen with the new recruiter within days, then was asked to come in that week or early the next week.
I came in and met with the Recruiter , then all the pertinent partners that the role would be under (Actually came back twice the same day to make things easier scheduling wise for them rather than spreading it out during the week.) I then was asked to come back the following week to meet with one of the founding partners and one of the direct supervisors the role would be under. Here the interview was both technical and business focused, though we focused more on technical concepts and broad industry directions and how it impacted the firm.
Shortly after that interview I was contacted that Friday to negotiate terms with the Recruiter.
I was given a preliminary offer letter quite fast after that, and started the expedited background process.
My full turnaround was about 4-5 weeks. Probably less.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General conversation about background, technical progression, career progression, understanding the industry, communicating challenges and ideas to address those challenges. Understanding what the firm does and the direction they are trying to go. My interview became more conversational with aspects for technicality and domain knowledge.
I applied through other source. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at ACA Compliance Group (New York, NY)
Interview
It seems to be all over the place. First I met an HR person and then a consultant. These seem like screening meeting Them I met a partner who tried to impress me with how great he is. It was a joke I am sure clients can see through this. I turned offer down money was less than I was currently making

Question 1
The asked me to answer several RIA technical questions. I am a lawyer and should have dazzled them but frankly I don’t think they understood my answers
