Interview was pretty easy and everybody was friendly with straight forward interview questions you can expect anywhere. I was contacted by a recruiter off of LinkedIn and had an interview the following week. The recruiter said they were looking for a good "cultural fit" because it was a small office. Sooo I knew going into it I likely wasn't getting hired but said what the heck why not. As I expected, I wasn't hired although I was more then qualified and worked in the financial field already. I later found the person they hired on linkedIn and not to my surprise our "cultural backgrounds" were what I expected and it didn't appear that she had an financial industry background experience. First and last time I go on an interview with an organization that's about "cultural fit" unless its minority owned. Not saying anything was going on because its human nature to feel more comfortable with people you typically hang out with and usually socialize with.
