ACA Compliance Group interview questions

The interview was for ACA Complaince's Technology team 1 phone screen and 2 onsite interviews. The interview was the shortest interview process I have ever experienced. The 2nd onsite was only necessary because they felt I would be a better fit on a different team and had me come in again a week later. Technical test involved very simple SQL questions using tables with no more than 3 columns and no more difficult than using an outer join. Situational questions involved describing situations in your previous position. The offer: Base salary for offer was pretty good. Benefits were average. Just the basic full medical/vision/dental, FSA, a vague yearly bonus and 15 days PTO. Many tech companies offer unlimited PTO, commuter benefits and gym subsidies to name a few. The standout was matching 401k. The Good: Company was willing to match me to a more suitable position when they determined I did not have enough experience for the role I initially applied for. They clearly have an excellent support manager who cares a lot about employee professional development Company has a very clear, reasonable yet amitious vision of what they want to accomplish. The Bad: Recruiter informed me during the first onsite that all offers would have a 24 hour deadline. She provided me with some questionable reasons such as "background checks are extremely expensive upwards of $5000" or " we need to know you are fully committed". Saying that background checks are that expensive puts the companies integrity into question. When I got my offer, I was given LESS than 24 hours to consider the offer. I asked if I could have EOD on the next day and I was refused. This was a huge red flag for me because I felt the company as a whole doesn't care much about their employees if they bully you into making a very important life decision before you're even sold. I imagine it would only get worse.

Phone screen with Human Resources. Then a phone interview with Human Resources and a Compliance Analyst. Initial phone screen was pretty basic just going through background. Human Resources person was nice.
