I was initially contacted by a recruiter that saw my resume online. She spoke/interviewed me over the phone. She then set up an interview with the manager in the local office. Was offered job on the spot. You are as good as your last sale. It doesn't matter if you blew it out the water the day before - if you don't make a sale the next day then you are worthless to them. Your manager will only assist you if it benefits them in the end. Don't expect any help. You also have to work 10x harder to get paid than you do for a sale. I'm still waiting for over $800 in pay that is owed to me without help from my manager.
