30min phone interview (2 weeks after applying) in-person interview (3 weeks after phone interview) I thought the interview went well and I followed up afterwards with thoughtful thank you notes. However, I didn't end up getting the position. I assumed someone with more education and experience was selected, but that was not the case. I believe this may have been a case of hiring discrimination, given there were no African Americans in leadership positions or within the group of 8 with whom I met.
