I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ActiveCampaign (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2019
Interview
Very down to earth. It felt like I was just having conversations with new friends and less like I was being interrogated in an interview. In person interview was nice to see location and see the environment - got a tour before sitting down in conference room.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ActiveCampaign (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2021
Interview
The hiring process was smooth and the recruiter explained the hiring and interview process well and helped me understand what was next after each step. The interview involved a standard phone screen, three 30 minute interviews with two team members and the manager, a writing sample, and an exercise using the CXA.
I applied online. I interviewed at ActiveCampaign (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2020
Interview
There was a pretty standard screener interview over the phone to discuss my qualifications and background - I was told I'd hear back by a certain date, I did not, I followed up and was told that I did not have the qualifications for the job.
Initial very typical phone screening, emailed writing exercise, and a video interview with multiple employees. Had contact with multiple HR/recruiting employees. Very casual and employees didnt make me feel nervous or uncomfortable.
