Your application experience begins with a series of long, tests. They will take you hours to do! Many of which didn't seem relevant to the job. They made me take a SQL test for example. Interview was three phone calls over the phone/Blue Jeans app for a process improvement focused gig on the side of the business that deals with accommodation providers. 1. First interview was with HR. Standard performance questions, personality stuff. 2. Second interview was with the hiring manger. This interview had more situational questions. 3. Third interview was with the department director My red flag for the gig was when I asked the director about "work-life balance". I always ask this for a job as I have a family and I want to be able to spend time with them. Having previously asked the hiring manager and HR rep, what they do outside of work and both answering me "going to the company gym" was slightly alarming. When I asked this question to the director of the department, she paused with a look of shock. That look of shock you might get when you ask for twice as much salary as a firm can provide for a position. Her answer was equally shocking "yeah, we struggle with work-life balance". Then the conversation pretty much ended there. She said "I gotta go". I think I dodged a bullet.
