Interview
Recruiter call, followed by a conversation with the hiring manager. Then there was a take-home coding challenge, which led into a panel interview.
During the interview, they explicitly asked not to use AI or even Google because it’s “too smart.” Instead, they said if you need to search for documents, use Bing since it’s “dumber” and less likely to give away answers right away.
A lot of CSS questions, do flexbox live, niche ones like how to select the icon in the native HTML date input. That really threw me off, come on, who actually remembers that? Even without AI, who still relies on native HTML for a design system?
