Interview
1st interview (virtual) was with the hiring manager and outgoing supervisor. Received an email 5 minutes prior to interview to reschedule due to illness of one of the interviewers. Interview took place 2 days later. Typical interview with typical questions except outgoing supervisor made it feel very behind the times (mentioned they printed everything and also basically asked if I had children which put me off). At end of interview was told a 2nd would be scheduled. 2nd interview took place the following week in person. Was given a tour by the hiring manager and outgoing supervisor then interviewed by outgoing and new director. Felt like a good interview. Good questions and good answers to my questions. Left with a note that I should hear something by the end of the week. It is now over a month later and I have been ghosted. I followed up once or twice and was told twice that a decision would come "next week" but no communication beyond that promise. I understand things are busy and constantly changing but after investing time and energy into an interview process, professional courtesy would be to give an update - even if it is not a positive one. Very disappointed. Not because I did not receive an offer but in the way I have been treated.
