I applied online. I interviewed at Ancestry in Nov 2023
Interview
This was the initial phone interview. It was okay but the interviewer was not at the company long and didn’t seem to have a great grasp of what the role was and what the day to day tasks would look like. I asked about progression and was told in essence there is none. Pay is also below the market rate and was fixed ( and below the market rate) - we ended the interview here as there was no point in continuing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is your experience? What attracted you to the role? What did I do for Job X? How will my skills from job X transfer to this job? Is the start date acceptable? Is the rate of pay acceptable?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ancestry (Dublin, Dublin) in Jun 2018
Interview
I had 2 interviews, one over the phone, one on site. The one on site lasted for more than one hour, inclusive of a test call and a test email. Generally the interviewer were friendly, but made way too many questions considering the role offered, most of the times repeating the same with a different wording.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ancestry (Orem, UT) in Oct 2015
Interview
Started when I applied online, just uploaded my resume, then I was required to complete a survey, then went to a quick phone call with a recruiter and ends with an onsite interview with Team Managers.
