The interview process was pleasant and professional.
My initial conversation started with the VP of Sales via email. After a handful of email exchanges, I was invited to the office where I would meet with several members of the team.
In order, I met with HR, an AE, the VP and the CEO over the span of about two hours. I had a feeling that the interviewing would be progressively more difficult as I rise up the ranks but that wasn’t the case. Everyone was pleasant, professional and genuine.
Thankfully, I didn’t get any behavioral questions. You know, the “tell me about a time when you blah blah blah” questions. Those are terrible and let’s face it, most of those stories are made up anyway lol.
Instead, everyone focused on my resume and qualifications. Usually, the discussion focuses on your most recent/current employer but we discussed every company on my resume. It was actually pretty cool and took me on a trip down memory lane. Be prepared for that.
Overall, it was a smooth and professional process.
