I applied online for this role and someone reached out to me after about 2 weeks. I came in for an on-site the following week. I met with 3 people in the span of 1.5 hours. Conversations were fine except I felt uncomfortable when someone on the panel assumed I was Korean just because I taught there in the past. I don’t believe that was relevant to the role. I was scheduled to meet with the CFO, but the last interviewer came back and notified me that he had actually left for lunch and I was free to go. After 8 days, I received a generic email saying they were not going through to the offer stage. I appreciate when the Recruiting Coordinator, or whomever was the point of contact through the process, notifies me instead of a machine.
