I had experienced unprofessionalism of HR/Recruiter from this company during my interview process.
So after our initial conversation regarding an opportunity, HR asked me all about me, my experience, salary expectations and if any offers that I hold currently. Her response to every questions were apathetic. Do not want to put an example over here. At the end, she scheduled my interview.
Few days later, I came to know that one of my friends, with similar experience, had called for an interview. So I contacted him to know how was it. He said in the final round they responded that your technical skills were good but we cannot offer you the salary that you expect because we need to maintain internal parity and all. He was displeased with their response as he already conveyed his expectations before coming for an interview.
After knowing that, I called HR to confirm if she is okay with my salary expectations and told her about the situation encountered by my friend. She said, we do not have any salary bar as such and I am the HR I know everything and that's why I called you and scheduled your interview. Even after such arrogant response, I agreed to come for an interview.
Within next five minutes, I received an email informing that your interview got cancelled as we have found our candidate. I was outraged and called her again to know what had happened. She said we do not want a candidate who only collects an offer with good salary and use it to show to other companies. I told her that I already intimated you about the offers that I hold currently and if you had any such doubts why did you schedule an interview in first place. For me, money is not the only thing that I look in an offer and I ended conversation in distress.
Please do not waste your time like this.
