It was a technical interview followed by motivation. The technical interview was engineering based. Motivation was very general, they asked about my CV, why I wanted to work there and any experience I had. It was more a casual chat between interviewers.
I applied online. I interviewed at Arup (Leeds, England) in Apr 2023
Interview
A thorough interview process with 3 part to the day. Mine took place online which consisted of a technical exercise, interview and Case Study. i had 45 minutes from receiving the exercise to make notes to present back to my interviewers. it was vague which meant it was up for interpretation which i think they wanted. after this preparation time i presented it back to them with what i would do with the situation in terms of design and constriction process. The interview consisted of multiple questions first asking about Arup itself then moving onto behavioural questions. Last was the case study which was very generalised for any job position i believe more of a problem solving/ interpretation based case study. Overall a busy day but very fair and lovely staff.
