I took a personality test, had a phone interview, and multiple in person interviews. They seemed generally excited about me and the prospects of me potentially filling the job. I interviewed with the final manager and they said they would contact my references. I contacted my references a couple days later and the said they never received any information from the company. I later got an email stating they went with someone else for the position. My question is why would you make someone come in for that many interviews without finishing the interview process of contacting references for a complete background of the person? While I was dressed professionally I saw another interviewee come in and she was dressed like she was in high school! It was a hard time understanding what kind of cultural fit they were looking for, but I realized this wasn't truly a professional place if they decide that someone dressing in high school wear is appropriate for an interview. If you are looking to work in an more professional environment- I would look somewhere else.
