I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Base CRM (Mountain View, CA) in Aug 2017
Interview
I interviewed in Base CRM back in July 2017. My experience went completely south during the last onsite interview, where I met with a newly promoted VP of Customer Success. My heart sank as soon as her eyes 'scaned' me from head to toe. It's worth mentioning that I dressed professionally. The first question she asked was "Are you going to meet with CEO? Or has it been cancelled?". After pulling out my resume, she then asked "Why did you move to the US?"
This is an example of someone got promoted without the right leadership quality or experience. I wish she wasn't so insecure about herself.
The entire process lasted a month, including a recruiter discovery call, one onsite deep dive culture interview, one onsite presentation/skill set assessment, and another onsite culture interview. They put the least amount of consideration for the candidates while scheduling those onsite interviews. The process was extremely inefficient.
To assess my skill set, they gave me a real business challenge. I then did an onsite presentation to analyze the problem and presented multiple creative solutions to demonstrate my expertise and experience in the area. The interviewer took tons of notes on my solutions, and then asked for a copy of my entire presentation through the recruiter after the interview. I felt being taken advantage of. That was an example of "candidate abuse".
Everything happens for a reason. Base CRM is not the right environment. I waited 6 months to write this review, making sure that I'm giving them a fair feedback.

Question 1
This interview will be a role-play simulation. You are playing the part of a Base Enterprise CSM and the interviewer is your manager. Please present a plan to address this business scenario:
-ABC Medical is an existing Base enterprise customer
-They started with 50 users Base users and have since then added 200 net new licenses of Base
-ABC is growing regionally, adding 4 regions internationally, and adding salespeople to each region
-Base’s strategic relationships with ABC Medical are non-existent
-One champion has been with us since the beginning
-Base’s software functionality works for 80% of their sales team’s needs
-Adoption of Base is high for 60% of users, but 40% have never logged in
-Executive communication uncovered 2 significant product requests (requirements)
-ABC Medical’s contract with Base expires in 6 months
Solve for: What would you do to ensure the renewal?
Be prepared to present your plan to ensure the renewal at ABC Medical.
Was contacted by the recruiter, who was responsive and communicative. After two phone interviews, interviewed with two other managers. First interview was on time and went well; second interview was scheduled for a specific amount of time and went way over the allotted time. Frankly wasn't as prepared for the second interview because, based on the information given to me: thought the meeting was going to focuse on one area and it had focused on another. I wish had been more prepared (lesson learned - always be prepared for whatever topics may come up during an interview). The people who interviewed me seemed smart and focused, albeit interesting to be interviewed by people with very limited work experience.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Base CRM
Interview
Went through a phone screen with a recruiter, an initial in-person with the hiring manager and then a follow up in-person with the hiring manager where I responded to a problem-solving exercise. Final interview was in-person with 4 people -- 1 peer, 2 execs, and CEO.
The recruiting process was very well-organized, and the recruiter and hiring manager were very open about communication. Entire team is consistently transparent, generally kind and very intelligent! A great group of people that will continue to be successful.
