I interviewed at Berry Appleman & Leiden (Dallas, TX)
Interview
This firm required 25 pages of behavioral questions which honestly seem discriminatory in nature. Also they allowed a paralegal to participate in my interview and ask me legal questions which is prohibited by the Texas Rule of Professional Responsibility 5.04 (d)(3) which states it is prohibited for a lawyer to practice at a firm where 3) a nonlawyer has the right to direct or control the professional judgment of a lawyer. If this happens at the interview stage I wonder what happens behind closed doors. Ultimately I withdrew my application
