Was contacted by a recruiter who then scheduled a phone screen and passed candidacy on to hiring manager. Was told I would interview with one person, then switched to another, when I signed on it was the original person. Very rushed and distracted, told me about position and gave opportunity to ask questions. Was then passed along for a "panel interview." Calendar invitation sent for a 1 hour time block. Signed on to see the same hiring manager I had originally interviewed with and an hr representative. They wanted to confirm I had already interviewed with "others." I confirmed that I had not. They then realized the "others" were scheduled right after them. They asked good questions and then proceeded to type into chat with each other the entire time I answered each one, often making odd facial expressions. The next round with two team members was a much better experience. More information about the actual job and no typing during my answers, they were sitting with their computers on a table and looking at a separate screen to make eye contact with me. When I didn't hear feedback within 3 days I signed into the careers portal to check my application status to find that I was "not selected." Fair enough. But no email at least after 3 interviews? No doubt the typing in chat impacted my focus and ability to answer the questions, and perhaps that is a requirement of the job to not be impacted by those things, but to me it's just not good etiquette and upon further consideration of the experience am glad I was passed over.

Had an interview with the team of 9 which went great, and was actually offered the job verbally within a few hours of the interview. Recruiter called to chat about compensation etc. Weird thing is they never called back, I followed up twice with no response. Pretty surprising that this happened but I also thought that the recruiter should have the respect of responding to someone after they have dedicated time to the interview process. Found it very unprofessional and I would never want to work for a company that treats people so poorly.
