I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Boots in May 2016
Interview
Applied Online and did tests. I was then asked to choose an appointment to go for an interview.
It was at an airport and the interview rooms were locked, so we had to do the interview in a waiting area outside security.
The person who was doing my interview lost all my details, so spent most time going through the basics. She said that different members of staff were doing different candidates interviews, so I don't know how that works out...
I was then told I would hear the outcome shortly. I am still waiting and the job has been since reposted on the Boots website.
Private interview questions - pretty standard just based on experience and given loads of time to answer. Then taken to shop floor to pick a product and how I would recommend/sell it.

Question 1
What would I do if I seen a customer who was looking around the store quite confused
Easy enough interview, just asked the typical interview questions. Thought i fit the role well but did not receive an offer or any reason for not being selected. Interview took place in a cleaning closet, which i did find strange as it was opposite the staff break room.
The interview was an hour long. Questions were
asked around compentencies. I was then brought out onto the floor to interact with customers and demonstrate product knowledge. Overall, it was pleasent, good interview.
