Manager asked me about 5-10 questions about my previous work experience, my skills, and why should I get the job. Some real case scenario questions, nothing too hard or very challenging. The whole process took 30-45 minutes, I asked her about the advertised job, what are the shifts, questions about the salary.

Question 1
What would you do if you had an encounter with a very angry and distressed patient.
Perhaps it was a one-off, but i found this interview quite odd. Hiring manager asked about me and mentioned they weren't well so asked me to just write on the interview paper myself instead of discussing it which threw me off completely. But a relatively short and easy interview, they only ask about three 'tell me about a time' questions.

I applied online. I interviewed at Boots in Jun 2026
Interview
Very disappointing recruitment process. I was told I had progressed to the next stage and booked an interview, but a few days later I received an email saying my application would not be taken further due to a high volume of applicants. To make things even worse, later on that evening, they reposted the role. The process felt disorganised and gave false hope.
Really quick and easy just a few questions interview went by very fast and was given a tour of the pharmacy which was also quite nice. Overall good environment and quite relaxed enjoyed the process
