Fairly quick process - applied online, completed the situation questions and was invited to an interview. I was asked to bring a passport so they can scan it, but it was not even asked for during the interview which seemed a bit strange to me. I was taken into the managers office, and was questioned by the Assistant Manager in training. I was asked numerous questions, which I can't remember clearly but they were not too difficult. However, it got more difficult as I was asked to 'sell' two products in the store that I hadn't researched, they either had to be a perfume, or a NO7 sun-care product from their range. This task seemed fairly pointless, as I had to sell a perfume with minimal text on the bottle so I had little to talk about. I did slightly better with the task of 'selling' the product we were asked to research prior to the interview, but it was still an uncomfortable experience. I was then taken to the shop floor, and asked to say which customers looked confident, and which did not and why I thought that. I was also told to ask a customer if they needed any help, which I probably found the easiest out of the whole interview. After, I was taken back to the room and answered more questions before leaving. I was emailed a few days later, telling me that I was unsuccessful.
