I walked into the store and approached an employee stating that I have a job interview today. The employee asked who with, in the email it didn't say who my interview would be with so I said I'm not sure. Then I got taken into the waiting room by another staff member and waited there for 5/10 minutes. Then the assistant manger came in and asked "do you have an interview today". I replied yes and followed her. No handshake, no hi/hello, no smiles. At this point I was really put off and worried. I followed her into another office where two other people were working. It was kind of awkward as I thought it was meant to be a one to one meeting, not with other people listening in. Anyway, onto the interview, she printed out some pages, took my ID, and proceeded to ask me the first interview question. There was no "why do you want to work for boots". The AM didn't take me onto the shop floor, didn't make me do the customer exercises on the shop floor, didn't make me do the sales pitch thing you have to do. She just asked me a couple of questions and showed me the way out. Overall, very bad experience, not what I was expecting at all. The interview was not conducted properly as you can tell.
