Applied on the evening of a Monday, completed 2 assessments, 1 being about shop scenarios and how you would respond, 2nd being about yourself ‘most to least likely’ personality test. Once passing them, I received an email the next day with interview dates and times to choose from. 1 hour interview consisted of 30 mins competency based questions, remaining time spent on the shop floor selling an item to the interviewer (so remember Boots 3 for 2 offer on products), and also had to read a leaflet on a Pharmacy service they offered and had to answer some questions off the back of it.

Applied online and within 2 hours was asked to complete an online assessment, which took about 20-30 minutes. Within a week I was then offered an interview, I booked it and was then called to change to an earlier date which was fine. Lady was lovely and very welcoming, interview took 20 minutes. Asked if I had ever been interviewed with competency questions and I said no but she said not to worry and it would be fine and not to worry. Said that it’s not the store that sorts out the interviews it is just put onto a system and a recruitment agency sorts it out. Also asked when I could start/if I had holiday. Heard back within 4 hours that I had not got the job.

Taken through some standard company interview questions with free questions at the end. Overall very calm and friendly atmosphere. Would recommend applying based on how it seemed during interview. I can't think of more words to write but the site is forcing me to.
