I applied online. I interviewed at Boots (London, England) in Sep 2016
Interview
The online application was a quick assessment and I was offered an interview quickly. At the interview it was very unorganised. It did not seem that they were aware I was coming and the person interviewing me repeatedly told me they did not know what they were doing and had never done it before. She skipped all the questions on the form and walked me around the shop floor asking no questions. That was the end of the interview. Very unorganised and a waste of time.
Private interview questions - pretty standard just based on experience and given loads of time to answer. Then taken to shop floor to pick a product and how I would recommend/sell it.

Question 1
What would I do if I seen a customer who was looking around the store quite confused
Easy enough interview, just asked the typical interview questions. Thought i fit the role well but did not receive an offer or any reason for not being selected. Interview took place in a cleaning closet, which i did find strange as it was opposite the staff break room.
The interview was an hour long. Questions were
asked around compentencies. I was then brought out onto the floor to interact with customers and demonstrate product knowledge. Overall, it was pleasent, good interview.
