The interview itself was much better than I anticipated. The manager who interviewed me was really friendly and made me feel at ease. She asked a few questions like DOB when I could start and any dates that I couldn't work and then told me the end date of the contract. She then asked me a few questions such as 'name a time you had to build a relationship with someone you didn't know' and if I had any retail experience. She then asked me why I wanted to work for boots and she seemed pleased with my answer. She then asked me to sell her the product I had chosen and she said it persuaded her to buy it and that she would after her shift. She also took me out on the shop floor and asked me to suggest improvements, which I did. She did not ask me to approach customers because she said it was too busy and would be unfair for her to do so. We then went back to the room and she told me a few things about herself and what it was like working for boots. She told me what the uniform was for a Christmas temp and the salary. She said she would be in touch Saturday night or Sunday but it is now Monday night and I'm yet to hear anything.
