I applied online. I interviewed at Boots (Cambridge, England) in Aug 2017
Interview
I came here before my interview and it helped me massively so have come to 'pay it forward'! I did the usual online questionnaire and the following day was asked to pick an available interview time. When I arrived the woman was so lovely and the environment was very relaxed. She asked a few questions which I will list down below and then we went onto the shop floor where I had to 'sell' my chosen product to her. After this, she then asked me to re-arange some shelves and bring the stock forward, once I had done that she gave me a basket of items and asked me to put them back in the correct display. The rest of the interview was back upstairs where we talked about available times I could work etc. etc. was told I would hear back the next day and got a call offering me the job!
Private interview questions - pretty standard just based on experience and given loads of time to answer. Then taken to shop floor to pick a product and how I would recommend/sell it.

Question 1
What would I do if I seen a customer who was looking around the store quite confused
Easy enough interview, just asked the typical interview questions. Thought i fit the role well but did not receive an offer or any reason for not being selected. Interview took place in a cleaning closet, which i did find strange as it was opposite the staff break room.
The interview was an hour long. Questions were
asked around compentencies. I was then brought out onto the floor to interact with customers and demonstrate product knowledge. Overall, it was pleasent, good interview.
