I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Boots in Oct 2017
Interview
I applied online on October 14th 2017 and was invited to complete the online assessment within 1 day. This consisted of online scenario questions in different sections of a Boots store followed by a personality assessment. I was then invited to interview on the 18th of October. There were a number of interview times and dates available for selection and I had my interview on October 21st. I was offered the position on October 24th.
The interview itself took 1 hour but due to it being extremely quiet in store we did not complete the shop floor assessment and instead talked through how I would approach the assessment. I did go on the shop floor to identify an area of the store I thought could be improved and why. The interviewer was really nice and I really enjoyed the interview. I talked a lot about my previous employment and how I enjoy teamwork and working with people and why the Christmas contract suited my flexibility. She gave me immediate feedback on how I had done and told me I should hear within the week but thankfully heard within 2 days and was offered a position.
