I applied and received an online assessment the next day. It took about 40 mind to complete and was very repetitive and easy questions. I then received an email telling me to book an appointment, I choose the last slot because I was very nervous about it😄. I then when to the shop and approached one of the staff members. She looked kind of confused when I did then went to ask other staff members. I was very uncomfortable because she went and spoke to her staff members in a group of three, whilst they were all staring back at me. She spoke to them for a while until she took me to the photo area and told me to take a seat. I thanked her for her help and waited a short time until another staff member came and took me to a room. The room was very messy and small but it was decent. She then went ahead to ask me about my availability, what days I could work and if I wanted to work in any other stores. She then proceeded with the interview, until some one started calling her and she picked up her phone DURING THE INTERVIEW!!! That was a very unprofessional thing to do and what makes it worse is that she decided to stay on and off her phone whilst interviewing me and looked very disinterested the whole time. She only took notes on some of the questions that she asked and wasn’t really welcoming. She finished the interview there and told me I would be contacted in a weeks time, it has been a week and I received an email saying I wasn’t offered the job. The weird thing is that I know that I’m supposed to go to the shop floor and some tasks, from all the reviews I read on this website. But I wasn’t even offered the chance to which was really disappointing. I feel like since I’m a Muslim woman and I dress modestly (wore a headscarf and baggy clothes) I was already being rejected before I started the interview. I was being excluded which is a really sad thing and i am really disappointed in boots. I hope no one goes through the interview I went through.

Long interview but not too difficult, had questions for around 30 minutes and then went onto the shop floor to do some role play questions - overall it was okay
