I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Boots in Nov 2017
Interview
The interview process has 2 parts: an online one and a face to face interview. In the online 'interview' you have a pretty long assignment to do ( takes about 30-40 mins to finish) in which you are presented with different scenarios for which you have to answer what you would likely do in a situation like that. I was contacted about 2 days later via e-mail to come and have a face to face interview, as they 'really appreciated my CV'. I booked my interview for the following week, at 12:00 PM. On the day of the interview, I arrived at the Boots store I was supposed to go to 10 minutes earlier. I sat down waiting for my interviewer. A lady came up to me and told me she was the store manager and asked me to follow her for my interview. Went somewhere in the back. The interview merely lasted 10-15 minutes. She pretty much only asked me about myself and what my plans for the future are. She seemed really friendly and nice, easy to talk to. I was really confused as to why the interview was so short. At the end she asked me if I had any questions and I asked her if she likes working for Boots and when will I know if i got the job or not and how will I be contacted. She was really lovely the whole time. By 12:05 I was out of the store. In my opinion, there's nothing more I could have said/ done. I answered all her questions and really calm and friendly. I did specify that I was about to start a part-time university ( so maybe that's the reason why she wasn't really convinced), but when asked how many hours I was willing to work and if I had a flexible schedule I said yes and that I'm available anytime, any day. Two days later I got an e-mail telling me that I was unsuccessful this time around, but without any feedback or answer as to why I didn't get it. All in all, both online and face to face stages were alright, I would've liked to get some more feedback.
