I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Boots (Dublin, Dublin) in Jul 2019
Interview
I applied online and waited to hear back from them. I did a personality test and then had to answer some basic questions online, quite a long process. Didn’t hear back so I then called the store and asked. She then gave me an interview time. I came in in semi-formal work attire and did a 1:1 interview which lasted about 40minutes in the office in store and asked about experience with very particular questions. I had prepared a lot using questions that the store asked online in other interviews, and wouldn’t go into this interview not having prepped answers!. Then the last part of the interview was going on the sales floor and approaching a customer and asking if they need help with anything etc while the manager marked me from behind and watched. Then I was given some situational questions. She told me there and then that I would probably get the role because other candidates weren’t suitable. They then called and offered me the job.
