I applied online. I interviewed at Boots in May 2021
Interview
I was invited for a half an hour phone call with the store manager. I had prepared thoroughly for the types of questions I thought would be asked however from the start of the the phone call it was clear that the store manager was very uninterested in the conversation. It sounded as if she had already found who she was looking for - this meant she rushed through my interview, didn't give me time to answer the questions and was overall very rude. She ended the interview after only 8 minutes. I was left feeling silly for all the interview prep I had done and very demoralised. I am very glad I was not invited to the next stage of interviews and really feel as if I have dodged a bullet. I am sure not all Boots store managers are like this but I would dread to work underneath her.
Just standard interview questions to check competency. Felt like a normal conversation nothing too invasive. Just things like that when was one time you delivered excellent customer service or how to do so.

Give one time you offered excellent customer service
Not bad, as long as you’re confident, they were very welcoming. It was a bit lengthy but I enjoyed it and come out feeling postive, it’s overall just to see if you’d be a good fit
Quick and easy. Standard retail interview. Was asked to talk about one of their products, to talk about myself. Was asked about my availability too. Good luck if you’re applying!
