I applied online. I interviewed at Boots (London, England) in Jan 2015
Interview
I was sent an email telling me I had successfully secured an interview and was given times to book my interview. After this, I went to my interview. I was slightly early but the hiring manger was actually 15 minutes late which was slightly irritating. I was then asked up to a consultation room where I was interviewed.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you went above and beyond your call of duty.
Private interview questions - pretty standard just based on experience and given loads of time to answer. Then taken to shop floor to pick a product and how I would recommend/sell it.

Question 1
What would I do if I seen a customer who was looking around the store quite confused
Easy enough interview, just asked the typical interview questions. Thought i fit the role well but did not receive an offer or any reason for not being selected. Interview took place in a cleaning closet, which i did find strange as it was opposite the staff break room.
The interview was an hour long. Questions were
asked around compentencies. I was then brought out onto the floor to interact with customers and demonstrate product knowledge. Overall, it was pleasent, good interview.
