I applied online. I interviewed at Boots (London, England) in Sep 2015
Interview
My interview was a lot more casual than i was expecting after reading other peoples experiences on here! The lady was very nice which made me feel comfortable. She took me downstairs to her office and had chat about me and why i would like to work for Boots. She asked me a few of the obligatory questions. We didn't do any of the shop floor stuff which i don't know if its a bad thing or not? All in all it lasted about 20 minutes! She said i would hear from her by Thursday. Fingers crossed!
update****
They called me back on the 14th & I started the next day!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why Boots?
Describe a time you had to work as a team
Private interview questions - pretty standard just based on experience and given loads of time to answer. Then taken to shop floor to pick a product and how I would recommend/sell it.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
What would I do if I seen a customer who was looking around the store quite confused
Easy enough interview, just asked the typical interview questions. Thought i fit the role well but did not receive an offer or any reason for not being selected. Interview took place in a cleaning closet, which i did find strange as it was opposite the staff break room.
The interview was an hour long. Questions were
asked around compentencies. I was then brought out onto the floor to interact with customers and demonstrate product knowledge. Overall, it was pleasent, good interview.
