I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Boots (London, England) in Sep 2015
Interview
I was asked to prepare a product to talk about but it was a waste of time since I didn't get asked any competency questions at all. Entire interview was just me wandering about the shop floor trying to get people to sign up for a boots card.

Private interview questions - pretty standard just based on experience and given loads of time to answer. Then taken to shop floor to pick a product and how I would recommend/sell it.

Question 1
What would I do if I seen a customer who was looking around the store quite confused
Easy enough interview, just asked the typical interview questions. Thought i fit the role well but did not receive an offer or any reason for not being selected. Interview took place in a cleaning closet, which i did find strange as it was opposite the staff break room.
The interview was an hour long. Questions were
asked around compentencies. I was then brought out onto the floor to interact with customers and demonstrate product knowledge. Overall, it was pleasent, good interview.
