I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Boots (London, England) in Aug 2014
Interview
Really brief, not detailed, didn't check relevant experience, didn't really check to see if I was able to do the job coherently, didn't ask many questions, not well organised thought I was another applicant, however was offered the job within 3 hours of the interview, poor organisation throughout, delay in contract and uniform ect, called in week before I was due to start to receive training although this wasn't mentioned and prepared in advance
Was good and informative.
Helped a lot
Interesting process
Would recommend to be honest
Given a lot of time
I think that once you focus on the extension of the time given to the current state of it then its good
4 simple questions, relevant past experience? Relevant skills? Why do you want to work for boots? Can you tell us abit about yourself? then a task to find something on the shop floor
Normal formal Interview. I was shown the full shop floor. I was asked about my favourite Boots Products and how I would sell them. I was asked about previous experience and skills.
