I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Boots (Hartlepool, England) in Oct 2015
Interview
The interview literally only lasted half an hour. I had a general chat about my work experience, if I had worked in retail before and just a little bit about myself first of all while we walked to her office. It was really quite casual! I arrived just before 11 (interview was at 11). I went to the office, answered a few questions and then went out on to the shop floor to say what I would do to improve the christmas section from a customer point of view and from a customer point of view. I said I would make sure everything was neat and tidy, stock is on shelves so that there aren't any empty gaps. I would make sure all the stock was in it's correct space and that the price tags were correctly displayed under the right product. I said with regards to grabbing the customers attention to the christmas aisle I would maybe put up a few more signs and maybe decorate the area to make it look fun and christmassy with some tinsel etc. She seemed to like that idea! I had the interview today (wed) and she would let me know if I have the job by the end of the week :) FINGERS CROSSED.
