I interviewed at Boots (Lisburn, Northern Ireland)
Interview
I applied online and got an e-mail notification of getting through that stage a day later, then had another test online which I was successful in, and was told about a week or so later that I had an interview. I booked it online and when I got there, the interview was only about 20 minutes. I had two assistant managers interviewing me, and they were both very nice and made me feel really comfortable, especially as it was my first interview. After photocopying my passport and asking when I could work, had I any holidays booked, they then asked why I wanted to work at boots, had I any experience etc, and then took me out onto the shop floor. They brought me to their fragrance aisle and asked me to sell a fragrance I was passionate about, and then to the product I had chosen (Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge) and asked me to sell it to them. I didn't actually have to interact with any real customers, and they then brought me to an untidy aisle and asked me how I would clean it up. They brought me back to the office and asked if I had any questions for them. I had written down some questions beforehand and asked those, and they answered them and said the interview was done. I thanked them and left, they told me they would get in contact in the next week to tell me if I'd got the job. They called me the day after and told me I'd been successful! I just had to post on glass door, as I used only this site to prepare for my interview and it was so helpful!
