Interview
I applied online for boots Co.Dublin and received an email to do online assessment and after a few days I received another email stating I passed to next stage and they would like me to book an interview slot...I had the interview on Saturday morning...I went 15 mins early....it went pretty well....met couple of staffs while waiting for the manager and they were very friendly and wished me best of luck...and later I was taken to the store manager's office for the interview...she asked me typical interview questions and took me to the store..she brought me to the dental aisle and asked me "how will I tidy it up?" since it was morning there were only couple of customers and she told me to interact with them....later she took me back to the office and pretty much said I did very well and she'll call me on monday or tuesday to let me know If I am successful...she said she has couple of more interviews in the following day.she also said I pretty much has the job unless someone outstanding walks through the door next day for the interview....we were pretty much laughing and smiling all the time....After interview she said she prefers me but have to go through other interview as well...Also she said I answered all questions very well and I asked the correct questions to the customer I went to help.....Today I received an email stating I was unsuccessful at the interview...I thought I pretty much had the job , the manager told me after the interview that she will call me. I don't know why I was rejected...Is it because I am an Asian? I have EU passport so I didnt need any work permit as well.Because I started noticing that all stores except PC world contains only Irish or EU people. If they don't like to employ people from other ethnicity they should post it in their website. So people will not get hopeful and apply for the job!!!!
