Interview
I first applied online, then they asked me to do an online assessment, then I got through to have an interview.
I arrived early at the interview and saw the manager performing some duties as a pharmacist. From then on, he asked me to join him in the back office. He first asked me some personality questions, then some questions about the job. He then took me onto the shop floor and took me to an aisle where he asked me what I would do in order to clean up the aisle and make it look more appealing. After i told him, he told me that I had 10mins to clean it up. Later on, he asked me to sell a No7 product to a customer. He then took me to an aisle and asked me what I would do if a customer kept on picking up products and putting them down again looking confused.
After this, my passport was photocopied and I was able to go home.
The manager interviewing me was extremely nice and he was also funny which put my nerves at ease!
Boots seems like a nice place to work as the majority of the staff I saw there were young like me.

Easy enough interview, just asked the typical interview questions. Thought i fit the role well but did not receive an offer or any reason for not being selected. Interview took place in a cleaning closet, which i did find strange as it was opposite the staff break room.
The interview was an hour long. Questions were
asked around compentencies. I was then brought out onto the floor to interact with customers and demonstrate product knowledge. Overall, it was pleasent, good interview.
