I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Boots in Oct 2015
Interview
I did the online assessment and got a request for an interview for the week after. They told me to prepare an item to sell. When I arrived, I got interviewed by the assistant manager. She asked me basic questions like why I would want to work for Boots and what day I would prefer. She then asked me different scenario questions and what I as a customer would do. I didn't go onto shop floor or present my chosen item. It took about 25 minutes and I got an email 2 hours later telling me I got the job.
Private interview questions - pretty standard just based on experience and given loads of time to answer. Then taken to shop floor to pick a product and how I would recommend/sell it.

Question 1
What would I do if I seen a customer who was looking around the store quite confused
Easy enough interview, just asked the typical interview questions. Thought i fit the role well but did not receive an offer or any reason for not being selected. Interview took place in a cleaning closet, which i did find strange as it was opposite the staff break room.
The interview was an hour long. Questions were
asked around compentencies. I was then brought out onto the floor to interact with customers and demonstrate product knowledge. Overall, it was pleasent, good interview.
