Interview
Went in for a group interview. We were waiting 30 minutes on the shop floor before being taken up to the staff room where we had to wait for longer before we were seen to. The manager was nice and welcoming. The interview itself was very relaxed and the questions were easy and straightforward. Each got asked the questions one by one around the group. We were told at the end of the interview that we would receive a phone call later that day whether we got the job or not. Manager made a point to repeat this twice and reiterated that is something they abide by. Waited by the phone all day and received no phone call. It's been around a week and they still haven't bothered to make any contact. I'm not someone who tends to expect to be contacted after part time job interviews, but after making a deal out of practically promising to make the call, it's very disappointing and unprofessional to not do so.

I have applied for a role of a Retail Operations Assistant (Christmas). Initially, I was invited for an interview. Within the same invitation I was required to fill in my two preferred dates. After submitting I have not heard from the hiring team for 7 days only to receive an interview cancellation. It is rather disappointing considering it is a temporary role and was expecting a much more swift reaction from the hiring manager.

Interview
Had to wait over 40 minutes for interviewer to come and got no apology or formalities, was just told to come. Patronising interviewer. Ticked the times and days I was free on the application however upon the interview I was told they were looking for someone who could work a night shift which I wasn't aware of as the application made it seem like it was daytime job?
It also was not a group interview like the email said and there wasn't 2 stages, it was just a quick interview/chat that was about 10 minutes yet I had to wait nearly an hour for it.
